These terms apply when you buy or use Moatline Pro, or use this website. Moatline is made by Next Nova Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (“we”, “us”). The free Moatline Malware Scanner plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later, and these terms don't limit your rights under that licence.
Buying Pro
- Orders are processed by Freemius, our reseller, which handles payment, invoices and sales tax. Their checkout terms also apply to your purchase.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
- Yearly licences renew automatically at the end of each year unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Lifetime licences are paid once and include updates and support for as long as Moatline Pro is sold.
Your licence
- Each licence can be active on the number of sites in your plan. Development and staging copies of an activated site don't count.
- Moatline Pro is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. Your licence key gives you access to updates and support; it's personal to you or your organisation and must not be shared or resold.
- If a licence expires or is cancelled, the software keeps working, but updates and support stop.
Support
Support is by email at info@nextnova.tech while your licence is active. We aim to reply within two working days. Support covers installing and using Moatline; cleaning up a hacked site is a separate paid service.
What we can and can't promise
Moatline helps you find and remove malware and harden your site, but no security product can catch every threat. Keep regular backups and keep WordPress, themes and plugins up to date. Moatline is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, revenue or profit, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Acceptable use
Don't use Moatline to attack, test or scan sites you don't own or have permission to work on. We may cancel a licence that's used this way, or that has been shared publicly, without refund.

Changes and contact
